Ghannouchi qualifies the Geneva Accord as a great victory for Iran and the Islamic Umma

Sheikh Rachid Ghannouchi qualifies the Geneva Accord as a great victory for Iran and the Islamic Ummah.

In his meeting with the Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Peyman Jebelli, Sheikh Rached Ghannouchi, Leader of Ennahdha Movement, described the recent nuclear agreement in Geneva as a great victory for the Islamic Republic of Iran and the Islamic Ummah.

Ghannouchi also congratulated the Iranian ambassador for this victory, considering that it shows the true independence of the Islamic Republic of Iran and it is a gain for the poor and disadvantaged people and it is a beginning to break the monopoly of science and technology in the world.

The leader of the Islamic movement considered that the breakdown of the scientific, economic and military embargo is a great achievement for the Iranian people, adding that it is natural that the Zionist entity feels dissatisfied because of this achievement and act to prevent its achieving.

During the meeting, Sheikh Ghannouchi recondemned the terrorist operation targeting the Iranian embassy in Beirut and expressed his condolences to the martyrs.

The two sides also discussed issues related to specific developments of the Syrian crisis and agreed that only dialogue can reach a political solution and end this crisis.
